Stanley (Skip) Lewis has been a valuable part of the Omni Containment Systems team for over 16 years. Through his experience he has gained a huge amount of knowledge about the grease containment industry.
Here is a little more about Skip:
No doubt, interacting with the amazing people I’ve met over the years, both co-workers and customers. People work to earn money, but the friendships made and great experiences enjoyed are what stick with me.
Omni’s founder and co-owner, Kevin Chwala, was a customer of mine at my previous job. We had a great relationship, and when an opening showed up in a new venture Kevin was starting, he asked me if I would be interested. I was and here I am!
My skills when it comes to using modern technology are not great. I miss my rotary phone! I have gotten a lot better in that area in the last year but I have a long way to go!
Education is vital to everyone involved. Restaurant owners and landlords must be shown why following the safety standards set forth in NFPA 96 is necessary. Fire marshals and AHJ’s as well. Service companies such as hood & duct cleaners must know what solutions are available to various problems, and how to persuade end users to implement them.
Eat your vegetables.
I enjoy matching wits with friends in various fantasy sports leagues. And listening to good old rock & roll!
Well, I can recite all 55 counties in West Virginia. It’s not my biggest talent but certainly my most worthless one!
Like my colleague Gary Weldon, I’ll go with Shawshank Redemption. It’s based on a story by my favorite author, Stephen King. King is known for monsters and the supernatural, but imagine the horror of facing life in prison for a crime you didn’t commit!
